- 1 lb. asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 8 oz. dry pasta of your choice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the asparagus and cook for 3 minutes.
- Remove the asparagus with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the cooked asparagus, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine and cook for 2 minutes.
- Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet with the asparagus mixture.
- Stir to combine and cook for 1 minute more.
