Lasagna with Mari…
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 2 jars marinara sauce
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add in the diced onion and garlic and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the dish.
  7. Layer 4-5 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  8. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by half of the meat sauce.
  9. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the meat sauce.
  10. Repeat layering process with remaining ingredients ending with a layer of noodles and mozzarella cheese on top.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  12. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
