Korean Spicy Tofu…
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 (14-ounce) block extra-firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 2 cups vegetable broth or water

Steps
  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, tofu and vegetable broth or water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Serve hot with steamed rice.
