  • Tomatoes
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Salt

Steps
  1. Chop the onion and garlic.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the tomatoes, onion, garlic, vinegar, sugar and salt.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Puree the mixture in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  6. Return to the saucepan and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Cool before serving.
