- 4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
- Add the olive oil and warm water and mix until everything is combined.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8-10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Punch down the dough and shape into two loaves. Place on an oiled baking sheet.
