- 1 lb dried navy beans
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground mustard
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups water
- Rinse and sort the beans and remove any debris.
- Add all ingredients to the Instant Pot, stirring to combine.
- Close and lock the lid of the Instant Pot.
- Set the Instant Pot to 'Manual' and cook for 30 minutes.
- Allow the pressure to release naturally.
- Open the lid of the Instant Pot and stir. If desired, mash some of the beans with a potato masher or fork.
- Serve hot.
