- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in sugar, salt, evaporated milk and corn syrup. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate until melted.
- Serve warm or cold.
