- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- In a large bowl, mix together the wheat flour, honey, salt and yeast.
- Add the butter and warm water to the mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-10 minutes.
- Shape into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
- Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
