Honey Wheat Bread
Ingredients
  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the wheat flour, honey, salt and yeast.
  2. Add the butter and warm water to the mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Shape into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
  5. Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
