Honey Lemon Cake
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk. Finally stir in the honey and lemon juice.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  5. Allow cake to cool before serving.
