- 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and olive oil.
- Season salmon with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add olive oil to pan and heat until almost smoking.
- Add salmon to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Stir in honey garlic mixture and red pepper flakes until well combined. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve immediately with additional red pepper flakes if desired.
