- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1 egg
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Using an electric mixer, beat in butter and honey until blended.
- Add egg and mix until combined.
- Roll dough out to 1/2-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut into 2 1/2-inch circles using a biscuit cutter or glass.
- Place on an ungreased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with honey butter.
