- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups warm water (105°F - 115°F)
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar and salt.
- Add the warm water and mix until combined.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour dough into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Uncover dough and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
