Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water (105°F - 115°F)

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and mix until combined.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
  4. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  5. Pour dough into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
  6. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Uncover dough and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
