Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup warm milk

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, salt, sugar and yeast.
  2. Mix in the water and oil until everything is evenly moistened. Add the milk and mix until everything is well blended.
  3. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Knead dough for about 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces, shape into balls, and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes.
