- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- In a large bowl, stir together the flour, salt, sugar and yeast.
- Mix in the water and oil until everything is evenly moistened. Add the milk and mix until everything is well blended.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let rise for 1 hour.
- Knead dough for about 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface.
- Divide dough into 12 equal pieces, shape into balls, and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes.
