- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, and water.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the salt.
- Allow to cool before using.
