- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup gummy bears
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine the cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips and gummy bears.
- Spread remaining batter over top. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in preheated oven. Brownies are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool before cutting into squares.
