Ingredients
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

Steps
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into thick slices and place in a shallow dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, and pepper.
  4. Brush the tomato slices with the oil mixture on both sides.
  5. Place the tomato slices on the preheated grill and cook for 4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  7. Cut the avocado halves into thin slices and place in a bowl.
  8. Drizzle with lime juice and toss to coat.
  9. Arrange the grilled tomato slices on a platter or plate. Top with avocado slices. Serve immediately.
