In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, wasabi paste, ginger root and sesame oil. Place salmon fillets in a shallow baking dish. Pour the marinade over the salmon.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard any remaining marinade. Grill salmon for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
