- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Brush the salmon fillets lightly with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
- Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in lemon juice and dill weed. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Serve the salmon topped with the lemon-dill sauce.
