Ingredients
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed

Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Brush the salmon fillets lightly with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and dill weed. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the salmon topped with the lemon-dill sauce.
