- 4 portobello mushrooms
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 4 Ciabatta rolls, split in half
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
- In a shallow dish, mix together the balsamic vinegar, garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Place the mushrooms in the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Grill mushrooms on each side for 8 minutes or until tender.
- Top each mushroom with a slice of cheese and cook until melted.
- Place mushrooms on the bottom halves of the rolls. Top with remaining roll halves to serve.
