Grilled Portobell…
Ingredients
  • 2 large portobello mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 slices of your favorite bread
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons diced red onion

Steps
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the mushrooms with the olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Grill for 4 minutes on each side until slightly charred and tender.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread. Layer with the mushrooms, lettuce and red onion. Top with remaining slices of bread.
  4. Grill sandwiches for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
