- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup prepared pesto sauce
- 8 slices sourdough bread, toasted
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Brush the mixture on both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Grill the chicken for 6 minutes per side or until cooked through.
- Spread pesto sauce on 4 slices of bread. Place grilled chicken on top of each slice and top with remaining slices of bread.
