- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices of your favorite bread
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken breasts to the dish and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
- To assemble the sandwiches: Place two slices of bread on each plate. Top each slice with grilled chicken and your favorite sandwich toppings.
- Serve warm.
