- 2 slices of bacon
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheese
- 1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
- 2. Add the butter and olive oil to the skillet. Once melted, add in the onion and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- 3. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place two slices butter-side down in a clean skillet over medium heat.
- 4. Place a slice of cheese on each piece of bread, followed by the caramelized onions, bacon, and another slice of cheese.
- 5. Top with remaining two slices of bread, butter-side up.
- 6. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
