- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 2 slices of bacon
- 1/2 avocado, thinly sliced
- 1-2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, Monterey Jack)
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the bread in the skillet, buttered side down. Top with cheese, avocado slices, and cooked bacon.
- Butter one side of the remaining slice of bread and place it on top of the sandwich in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the sandwich over and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
