Ingredients
  • 2 whole wheat pita breads
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 slices cheese of your choice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

Steps
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each pita bread.
  3. Place the pitas, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Top each pita with two slices of cheese and sprinkle with onion.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook until the cheese is melted and the pita is golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  6. Carefully flip the pitas over and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 3 minutes more.
  7. Serve warm.
