- 2 slices of bread
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 slice cheese
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice, butter side down, in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place the cheese slice on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the remaining slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Flip sandwich over and cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and serve.
