- 1 lb. green beans
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wash and trim the green beans.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the almonds and cook, stirring, until lightly toasted.
- Add the green beans and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
