- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups cooked green beans, drained
- 3/4 cup French-fried onions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir onion and garlic in the hot butter until softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper into the onion mixture; cook and stir until heated through.
- Mix green beans into the sauce; transfer to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle French-fried onions over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in preheated oven until bubbly and lightly browned on top, about 30 minutes.
