- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken cubes and stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat or preheat a grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Thread chicken onto skewers and discard marinade.
- Grill skewers on preheated grill or grill pan for 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Serve with tzatziki sauce.
