- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup butter, softened

- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the butter and sugar to the dry ingredients and mix until it forms a dough.
- Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut out shapes using cookie cutters or a knife.
- Transfer the cookies to an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
