Ingredients
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 2 pears, cored, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick.
  3. Cut out 12 circles using a 3-inch (7.5 cm) cookie cutter.
  4. Brush each circle with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle Gorgonzola cheese over each circle.
  6. Arrange pear slices in a fan shape on top of the Gorgonzola.
  7. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature.
