- 1 lb asparagus spears
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Place asparagus on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. Drizzle over asparagus.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the asparagus and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
