Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 3/4 cup milk, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and stir until combined.
  4. Add the milk and stir until just combined.
  5. Stir in the cheese until just combined.
  6. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.
