- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 3/4 cup milk, room temperature
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Pour in the melted butter and stir until combined.
- Add the milk and stir until just combined.
- Stir in the cheese until just combined.
- Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
