Ingredients
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or more to taste
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add angel hair pasta and cook for 3 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp, red pepper flakes, salt and black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and cooked through. Stir in lemon juice.
  4. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the shrimp mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
