- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add garlic and seasonings; simmer for 1 minute.
- Spread butter mixture over cut sides of bread.
- Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
- Cut into slices and serve warm.
