- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups white sugar
- 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Stir in sugar and cocoa powder.
- Gradually stir in the milk.
- Bring to a boil, and cook until the mixture reaches 234 degrees F (112 degrees C) on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat.
- Pour into a buttered 8x8 inch pan.
- Let cool and cut into squares.
