- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter and chocolate together in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Stir in the flour until combined.
- Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
