Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Stir in the flour until combined.
  5. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool before cutting into bars.
