- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 3 cups shredded cabbage
- 3/4 cup julienned carrots
- 3/4 cup diced red apples
- In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, mustard and celery seed; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add cabbage, carrots and apples; toss to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
