Fruit Tartlets
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch tart pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Combine the flour and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
  3. Press dough into prepared tart pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in preheated oven, or until lightly browned.
  4. Cool before filling with desired filling.
