- 1/4 cup finely chopped pork
- 1/4 cup finely chopped shrimp
- 1/4 cup finely chopped scallions
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Combine pork, shrimp, scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil and pepper in a bowl.
- Place 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges with water and fold in half to form a triangle.
- Press the edges firmly to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Fry wontons until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with sweet chili sauce or duck sauce.
