Fried Tofu Puffs
Ingredients
  • 1 block extra-firm tofu
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the cornstarch, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
  3. Dip each cube of tofu into the mixture and coat evenly.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add the coated tofu cubes to the pan and fry until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Remove from heat and serve warm.
