- 1 block extra-firm tofu
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the cornstarch, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
- Dip each cube of tofu into the mixture and coat evenly.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.
- Add the coated tofu cubes to the pan and fry until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
