Fried Pork Wontons
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 24 wonton wrappers

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the pork, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions.
  2. Place 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture in each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water and fold in half to form a triangle.
  4. Press down on the edges to seal.
  5. Heat 2 inches of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
