Fried Pickles
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) dill pickle slices

Steps
  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and paprika. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs. Place the panko crumbs in a third shallow bowl.
  2. Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture to coat both sides. Dip into the egg mixture and then coat with the panko crumbs.
  3. In a large skillet, heat 1 inch of oil to 375°. Fry pickles in batches until golden brown on both sides; drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve warm.
