- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 quart dill pickle spears, drained and dried
- Preheat oil to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- In a separate shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third shallow bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each pickle spear in the flour mixture. Shake off any excess flour.
- Dip each pickle spear in egg mixture. Allow excess egg to drip off.
- Roll each pickle spear in the breadcrumbs until evenly coated.
- Deep fry in preheated oil for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
