Fried Onion Rings
Ingredients
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Steps
  1. Slice the onion into 1/4 inch thick rings.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  4. Dip each onion ring into the egg mixture and then into the flour mixture to coat.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve hot.
