- 1 large onion
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup milk
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Slice the onion into 1/4 inch thick rings.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- Dip each onion ring into the egg mixture and then into the flour mixture to coat.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot.
