- 1/2 cup corn flakes cereal
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup honey
- vegetable oil for frying
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cereal, melted butter and sugar.
- Form 4 ice cream balls using an ice cream scoop.
- Roll each ball in the cereal mixture until it is completely coated.
- Freeze the balls for 1 hour.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Dip each ball into the honey, then carefully place into the hot oil. Fry for about 10 seconds or until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and let cool on paper towels. Serve immediately.
